• Paid post-doc level research in NU-Vision Project associated with NHS, UK to automate the process of getting maximum amnion segments and perform quality grading using Machine learning in Vision and MATLAB. The segments were used for biotherapies to heal and treat ocular surface disease and promote natural healing. (https://www.nu-vision.co.uk/)
• Machine Vision and optimisation algorithms were used to find the best array of segments from a piece of amniotic membrane and grade them based on data acquired using vision techniques. This increased the speed of the process to get the segments, reduced wastage during manual cutting, and increased the number of better-quality segments.
• This research was published in an IEEE paper.
