• Did an Entrepreneurial and industrial project with the University of Nottingham and Boots, in addition to academic projects to horn my business, marketing, and leadership skills such as marketing, project development, and project management skills. • The aim of the project was to identify a gap, develop a product and formulate a product management plan to manage its lifecycle. My team was given a ‘Sun care and holidays’ theme. We did market research and the analysis of existing products and the needs of stakeholders. Through market surveys and analyses, we identified a gap in the market for a unisex, environment and skin-friendly sun care product, which is portable and can be topped up. Hence, we developed ‘ Limitless’, an innovative and lucrative sun care product. We added extra accessories such as top-up bottles of glitter and colors making it fun and appealing during holidays for activities such as festivities, watersports, and soccer matches. We also developed a product management future plan and a business management plan to manage product finances. We pitched this product to the lead business and product development managers at Boots. We also did a ‘dragon den’ style business pitch to investors. Our product was appreciated. Boots developers said they were quite inspired and would pitch this idea thigh up to the company. • I lead a team of 7 members during this project. During this endeavor, I acquired buying, branding, marketing, and negotiation skills. This project also enhanced my teamwork, leadership, networking, presentation, communication, and commercial awareness skills. • I was awarded the best negotiator award for successful management of product development and management plan and its finances and selling it for the highest amount to the investors. https://www.boots.com/
